Thank you Jeremy, but actually I already read this chapter and there is still something that doesn't work for me: in theory, with YCbCr444 I should be able to use 8x8 images, but the decoder function g_sf_jpeg_decode.p_api- outputBufferSet() keeps returning SSP_ERR_JPEG_UNSUPPORTED_IMAGE_SIZE if the dimensions are not multiple of 32. I'm going to start a new post with the topic "Possible JPEG decoding bug" where I will explain my (weird) experiences with small JPEG images.
