Each helped a bit, thanks everyone. If this isn't going to be indexed, it would be wise to integrate a few links from within the SSP docs. I am not in the habit of organizing my drive with documents. In general I find the effort wasted, as google knows about relevance, and much more, while Windows Search always seems to just empty the trashcan on me. I do have copies of important documents, and now that I installed Copernic Desktop Search to get random access to my files (just for Renesas), I have found "fx_directory_short_name_get" in a few files. Weird seeing Google defeated. While browsing I also found the interestingly named "r11um0001eu0541-synergy-filex.pdf", which contains the search string a frustrating 25 times (as it appears in a useless "see also" section), yet, strangely, it was not found by Copernic, despite being on an indexed path. I guess PDF's have a habit of breaking up strings. Duplicating Google locally is evidently not a good use of time, longterm. Document restrictions sadly erase much of the effort put into quality documentation. Renesas surely will come to regret this. While it much deserves return on investement, when competitors move into this space it will seem like it never existed :/! Who'd want that?
