Hello, Modbus has already been done on Synergy - in fact, it's implemented by Skkynet Embedded Toolkit VSA: synergygallery.renesas.com/.../4 . SCI peripheral offers flow control using CTS and RTS signals (i.e. request to send and clear to send) which should be sufficient to implement Modbus. Regards
